Thomas is a Chief Technology Officer with a strong managerial/technical penetration testing background. He currently holds the CyberScheme Infrastructure Lead (Inf) and CHECK Team Leader status. He has conducted QSTM and CSTM exams (for CHECK Team Member) as well as delivering the Advanced Threat Methodology and SoC Incident Response courses to both domestic and foreign students. 

With experience in both Blue and Red teams spanning diverse industries, he offers a unique perspective on intrusive operations and their defense. Their expertise includes handling zero-day malware intrusions and AUP incidents to safeguard client data, particularly in sensitive domains like child protection.

In addition to their offensive security roles, they excel in reverse engineering, a skill that facilitates exploit development and research into attack code. They have also partnered with a prominent EDR vendor to identify product vulnerabilities and devise bypass solutions, ultimately enhancing the product`s real-world performance.

  • Incident Response post-breach, general security posture review, implementation of new processes, assist to achieve HISSM, compliance with NHS DSTP
  • General security testing and consultancy including delivery of custom offensive operations, scenario based testing (stolen laptop & internal threat actor), tool development for improved testing efficiencies and avoidance of defensive products (Sophos/Defender/CrowdStrike)
  • Delivered Incident Response and Red Team testing services for UK Critical National Infrastructure in the transport and finance sectors.
