INTRODUCING: ZYNC.

Things are changing here, and we are thrilled to share with you the news of our evolution which includes a total rebrand and some epic new features!

 

We know that if you stand still, you’ll be left behind – that is why we are changing as a business. As of today, we will no longer be called Westpoint. We will become Zync. But, why the change? Quite simply – we have evolved as a business, and it is time that our branding reflected this. We tried to find a word that epitomised who we are today - and struggled. So, we decided to create our own by blending two words built on our principles, that represent succeeding through powerful collaboration – Sync and Zinc.   The result = ZYNC. – “success through powerful collaboration”   

 

What do the two words mean to us?

SYNC Noun “Harmonious relationships built on collaboration.”

ZINC Noun “An element that is essential for strength, growth and protection.”

 

 

The change represents our next phase of growth as a business and our intentions to remain the Number 1 Global Strategic Talent Partner to the cyber security industry. But what does that mean for us? And, more importantly, for you?

 

Our Story

 

To understand why we have decided to take this step and change our image, we first need to talk about how we came to this point.

 

We were formed 7 years ago, as a technology recruitment partner to businesses globally. We didn’t shift our focus entirely to cyber security until a couple of years in, but since then our name has been on the lips of top cyber professionals and hiring managers across EMEA. What set us apart was not only our unique style but also our incredibly vast and efficient in-house cyber security databases, the likes of which remain unparalleled in the market today.

 

Although it’s true that Westpoint has built a stellar reputation for the work we do, we want to take the next step. We want to evolve our brand to reflect how we have evolved as a business. Although the name ’Westpoint’ is memorable, it doesn’t reflect our identity, culture or how we operate anymore.

 

Simply put, we feel we have outgrown it.

 

What Will Change

 

On the surface, a lot.

As you would expect with a rebrand of this magnitude, all the logos, colours, branding and website will be completely revamped and new.

 

But besides the new look, there are a lot of internal changes we are working on to improve your experience with us. We have got some exciting new products to implement, which we will go into more detail on in the next section. With these, we are looking to streamline the hiring process to make our already fast recruitment methods more efficient and more comfortable.

 

The evolution is all about how we can improve as a partner to you, our customers. So, to make it as easy for you as possible, all you have to do is remember the new name: zync.
