In this role you will be responsible for:
· Enhancement and maintenance of existing security tools (e.g., vulnerability scanners, WAF, IDS/IPS, EDR).
· Monitoring, analysing, and responding to security incidents while documenting vulnerabilities.
· Proactively identifying and mitigating risks through improved dashboards and threat detection.
· Performing independent security assessments to uncover infrastructure vulnerabilities.
· Evaluating, selecting, and deploying new cybersecurity technologies and solutions.
This role is remote in Germany.
Essential:
· Relevant degree e.g. Computer Science, Cyber Security
· Several years professional experience in defensive security
· Practical experience with SIEM, EDR, Firewalls, IDS/IPS etc.
· Network security knowledge
· Good communication skills
· Minimum C1 German and fluent English
Desirable:
· Experience with offensive security
