the role
- Set up and maintain innovative tools, solutions, and processes to manage data threats, detect security threats and enhance security incidents.
- Work alongside other teams (infrastructure, application engineering etc) in the organisation to ensure the security and resilience of infrastructure
- Implement and maintenance of incident response and forensic toolkit
- Detect and respond to security incidents
- Create relevant documents and metrics to the stakeholders and business leaders
- Keep up to date with the attacker tools, techniques, procedures, and other security topics
Skills required
Essential skills:
- Implementing SIEM solutions E.G Splunk, ELK, DataDog
- Programming experience – e.g. Python and Golang
- Experience with forensic tools
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD, Configuration management tools in AWS
- Fluent in English language
Desirable skills:
- Familiar with Vulnerability Management concepts
- Experience with container technologies including Docker and Kubernetes
- Cyber Security certifications e.g. CISSP, GIAC
- German Language skills
