In this role you will be responsible for:
- Support and optimise customer IT security solutions, including operation, analysis, troubleshooting and redesign to meet evolving needs.
- Gather and document customer requirements, designing and implementing tailored security architectures and configurations.
- Work with leading vendors and technologies (e.g. Cisco, Fortinet, FireEye) to deploy and integrate security products.
- Investigate and resolve complex technical issues, providing expert advice and acting as a trusted partner for clients.
- Stay current with new security products and standards, testing, evaluating and presenting new solutions to customers.
This role is on-site in Frankfurt.
Essential:
- Relevant degree or equivalent qualification e.g. Computer Science, Cyber Security etc.
- At least 2 years of hands-on IT security engineering experience
- Strong knowledge of network and security technologies — VPN, routing protocols, firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention, encryption, Windows and Linux systems.
- Familiarity with key security vendors e.g. Cisco, Fortinet
- Familiarity with Information Security standards e.g. ISO 27001
- Excellent problem-solving and customer-service mindset, with the ability to work independently and in teams.
- Minimum B2 level German or above with a good knowledge of English
Desirable:
- Relevant Vendor Certifications e.g. Cisco CCNA/ESA/WSA, Fortinet, FireEye
