I am hiring a Junior Cyber Security Analyst on behalf of an industry-leading cybersecurity firm that specializes in the assessment of IT security products across multiple sectors.
This company operates a world-class testing center dedicated to evaluating the security of both physical and digital products, from payment systems and mobile apps, to firewalls, VPNs and embedded security modules. They work with global clients to ensure their products meet stringent security standards, protecting critical infrastructure and consumer data from a wide range of cyber threats. Based in Munich, the company is known for its collaborative culture, deep technical expertise, and continuous professional development opportunities.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Assisting in the evaluation and testing of IT security products across different categories, including software and hardware.
- Supporting senior evaluators in assessing products against national and international security standards.
- Participating in security testing processes such as penetration testing, vulnerability assessments, and security protocol verification.
- Documenting testing procedures and results in comprehensive, actionable reports.
- Contributing to ongoing research on emerging security threats and technologies.
This role is hybrid three days a week in Munich.
Essential:
- A degree in Cyber Security, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of security testing methodologies and tools.
- Programming skills.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Clear and concise technical writing ability.
- Fluent English
- C1 German Minimum
Desirable:
- Familiarity with cryptographic systems or hardware security
- Basic knowledge of penetration testing or vulnerability scanning tools.
