My client is looking for a Physical Security Expert to join their team and help design, implement, and manage security systems that ensure the safety of critical infrastructure.
They help manage projects, advise on sustainability, and introduce modern technologies. With a global presence, they work on a variety of projects, from new builds to renovations, and focus on finding innovative, efficient solutions.
Your Responsibilities:
- Develop security solutions: Create and implement security plans for buildings and facilities, including systems for access control, video surveillance, and intrusion detection.
- Manage intrusion and burglary threats: Conduct risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities to break-ins and burglary, and put in place effective solutions to prevent these threats.
- Integrate security systems: Ensure all physical security systems (such as alarms, CCTV, and access control) work together smoothly and connect with emergency protocols.
- Compliance with standards: Ensure security measures follow key industry standards like EN 56100, NIST 2, and TISAX.
- Oversee vendors and quality control: Manage security system vendors, ensuring installations meet the highest quality standards.
- Continuous improvement: Regularly review and update security measures to keep them effective against evolving threats.
- Lead security projects: Manage security system projects from start to finish, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
Your Profile:
- A degree in security management, engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in physical security, focusing on intrusion detection, burglary protection, and access control.
- Knowledge of security standards like NIST 2, EN 56100, and TISAX is desirable.
- Hands-on experience with access control, CCTV, intrusion detection, and burglar alarm systems is a plus.
- Experience in risk assessment and threat analysis for physical security.
- IPMA-C certification or project management experience is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
