His career has led him to investigate high-tech crime cybercrime, working on banking trojans and an international task force infiltrating communities extracting information and understanding how their malware works. 

 

Some of his experience included:

  • Initiating and leading cybercrime investigations
  • Cybercrime and Threat Intelligence: analysing several police internal & external intel sources to initiate cybercrime investigations
  • Underground economy monitoring: establishing and maintaining access to restricted areas of the underground economy including darknet
  • Speaking and presenting at international conferences
  • Forging and keeping relationships with external, international partners
  • Developing tools to analyse cybercrime
  • Conducting training
  • TISAX, CISSP, ISO27001
